Over the past week, members of the Chesterfield Police Department, East Madison Fire Territory, Anderson Police and Fire as well as the Town of Chesterfield have been planning for Independence Day Events. There are several events planned in Chesterfield starting July 1st and running thru our parade on July 4th. Police and Fire personnel are planning to ensure participants and spectators are safe during the holiday season. We remind citizens “If You See Something, Say Something”, by dialing 9-1-1 to report suspicious activities. Our police officers will be present during all activities.
We want our citizens to enjoy family activities and celebrate safely during all of our community events. Be sure to pay attention for road closures, parking restrictions, and other important bulletins over the 4 day holiday events.
