The Chesterfield Town Council swore in two employees to Chesterfield PD. Kyle Carpenter was sworn in as a full time patrolman. Spencer Dulaney was sworn in as a part time patrolman.
Officer Carpenter began his tenure with Chesterfield PD as a reserve officer in the fall of 2023 after completing his ILEA pre-basic training. Officer Carpenter was currently in his Field Training phase and will continue training this spring before attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy later this year.
Officer Dulaney was a full time police officer with Lapel PD, before being hired by Anderson Fire Department. Officer Dulaney will complete a brief field training program with CPD before being released for solo patrol and helping to fill open positions.
