From the bottom of my heart, I am very thankful to be in Chesterfield, Indiana! Last evening, July 3, an exciting aircraft show was performed for two hours and a beautiful fireworks display followed at the Anderson Airport. We had more than 1,987 vehicles inside the property of the airport. Yes, almost 2,000.
This event would not have been successful without the support of Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr., airport staff, Anderson Police and Fire, East Madison Fire Territory, and EMA. An event this size, takes a lot of “working together” and good communication between all agencies.
I am very proud to be a member of the Chesterfield Police Department! The men and women who serve the residents of Chesterfield are true professionals and are “top notch” individuals that I am fortunate to work with. I am very appreciative for our caring residents, who lookout for each other and respect their neighbors. Your good deeds do not go unnoticed.
The members of The Chesterfield Town Board and Clerk Treasurer truly care about our beautiful town and all the people here. They all have been very supportive of our Police Department and they work hard for the residents. Without these members, we would not have the beautiful town, fireworks display, and parade each year.
The next time you see our elected officials, please tell them thank you for what they do for your community. Each member truly cares about you and this wonderful town.
Thank you,
Joey Cole
Chief of Police
