ABOUT US

The Chesterfield Police Department is located in central Indiana, approximately 40 miles NE of Indianapolis along Interstate I69.  Chesterfield is the first city east of Anderson, IN and we are considered the metropolitan area of Anderson.  Our small town has approximately 2,000 residents.

WHO ARE WE

The Chesterfield Police Department consists of a Chief of Police, Ass’t Chief, 4 full time officers and 10 reserve officers.  All sixteen officers are fully trained and certified law enforcement officers to work in the State of Indiana.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Chesterfield Police Department is to work in partnership with the community to safeguard lives and property, prevent and detect crime, and maintain the quality of life expected by those who reside, work, and/or visit this community. To reach our mission, we will provide service with honor, professionalism, integrity, fairness, understanding and commitment to all as we enforce traditional law enforcement policing practices.
